Aquinas Catholic Schools are beyond blessed to be supported by 13 local parishes surrounding the David City area. Every class, K-12, has spiritually adopted a parish. The schools goal is to have each class serve their parish in some small or large way. The junior class has adopted St. Mary’s Parish in David City. On Saturday, a small group of juniors (even some parents) helped load pumpkins and gourds to be sold at St. Mary’s Parish over the weekend. The following Friday, after the pumpkin sales were over, the entire class traveled to the patch to clear out the plants so the field will be ready for next years pumpkins. Thank you to Ray and Cherie Kobza and St. Mary’s Parish for such a fun way to serve our supportive parish. 

The Aquinas Kindergarten Class has adopted Sts. Peter and Paul Parish in Abie. Trev Moravec was able to visit the Kindergarten class to teach them about how an auction works and how to bid. A special kid’s auction was added to Sts. Peter and Paul’s annual Duck and Ham Dinner fundraiser on Sunday, October 3rd. Thank you Sts. Peter and Paul’s Parish for allowing our kindergarten class learn the importance of giving back to our supportive parishes.
