Aquinas Catholic: Celebrating Legacy and Service

Aquinas Catholic is a community deeply rooted in faith and education, dedicated to nurturing leaders who embody compassion and service. The diamond jubilees of our esteemed alumnae, Sister Marilyn Geiger and Sister Rose Klein, highlight 60 years of unwavering commitment to religious life and community service, reflecting the core values of our institution.

Sister Marilyn Geiger

Sister Marilyn Geiger, a 1962 graduate of Aquinas Catholic High School, celebrated her diamond jubilee on July 2, 2025, as a member of the Sisters of Saint Francis of Rochester, Minnesota. She entered the Rochester Franciscan Congregation from Immaculate Conception Parish in Ulysses, Nebraska.

Sister Marilyn earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of Saint Teresa in Winona, Minnesota, and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Washington in Seattle. She also received a Master of Divinity in Theology from Seattle University. Her ministry has included many years of service in the Archdiocese of Seattle, where she served as pastoral coordinator of St. Anne’s Parish and as a family nurse practitioner in a community clinic.

Her leadership has extended to the broader Church as well. From 2012 to 2016, she served as Congregational Minister/President of the Sisters of Saint Francis of Rochester, Minnesota.
