Aquinas Catholic Schools is financially and spiritually supported by 13 parishes. We are exceptionally blessed to have many parish communities that support our students, faculty, and staff. New to the Aquinas schedule was the introduction of ‘Houses’. Our entire student faculty and staff are divided into 13 houses. These groups are similar to home room. Students from 6th to 12th grade are mixed within the houses to create an opportunity to cultivate friendships within different grades. Houses were specifically designed with the intention of adopting every supportive parish in the David City Deanery.
In November students, faculty, and staff from Aquinas Middle & High School boarded every bus we own and spread across over 300-mile area to serve our supportive parishes. The weather was beautiful and many houses served their parish/community inside and outside. Projects ranged from deep cleaning church basements and rectories, to outdoor removal of trees, leaves, and sticks. A few parishes provided lunch for their houses as a special thank you.
